1. More Bang for the Buck
Thanks in part to recent threats of U.S. tariffs, the Canadian dollar has hit a 20-year low, making every $1 USD go much further.

Filming in Canada also unlocks major incentives, with 45% of labor costs reimbursed, covering over 25% of a film’s budget.

Additionally, Ontario Creates and the Canada Media Fund offer up to $400K CAD in financing.

Together, tax credits and incentives can fund up to 50% of a $1.2M USD film, maximizing every dollar for unparalleled production value.
2. Flexible Investing Options:
1. First In, First Out
Your investment is treated like a type of loan that is repaid back first ahead of any other stakeholders and comes with a generous one-time 20% premium. Your investment is applied to one film only and the aim is to repay it back as quickly as possible plus 20%.

2. Equity Investor
This option involves buying non-voting shares in Ligthwalker Films Inc. and is a longer-term investment over the entire slate of 5 films. Your investment is paid back last in the investment waterfall, but you retain ongoing potential for profit sharing over the course of the 5 films. You share in the ongoing success of the entire slate with the potential to earn back far more than your initial investment.
3. Recipe for Success
While every film carries inherent risk, we are mitigating this risk by:
  • Ensuring a known star is cast in each film.

      • This star will appear on the poster, and in the trailer, ensuring greater sales potential.

  • Keeping the budgets low, especially for the first two films, making it far easier to recuperate the money spent.

  • Building a network of film sales specialists to maximize sales in every territory possible.
4. How Money is Made
There are three major 'windows' of opportunity to make money on any film:
  1. Theatrical Release – Contrary to popular belief, money is rarely made in this window, but getting a movie in theaters raises awareness of the movie and helps with marketing and success for the other windows.

  2. Transactional Window – Includes digital purchases, rentals (Apple, Google, etc.), and DVD/Blu-ray sales..

  3. Cable TV / Streamers – Sales to cable networks and global streamers like Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu.
5. How Money is Recuperated
Every film has a number of stakeholders who all have different deals and repayment priorities. In order to ensure transparency and fairness, we will ONLY engage a sales team who will use what is called a CAMA - a Collection Account Management Agreement.

Basically, we hire a third-party to create a 'master agreement' that covers all stakeholders and clearly lays out where and when money will flow. ALL money from ALL sales in ALL jurisdictions flow directly to the third party, who will keep the money in escrow and distribute to stakeholders according to the master agreement.
6. Investor Perks
Whether you choose to invest short-term or long-term, all investors will have the chance to:
  • Visit set and observe while we film the movie.
  • Receive an Executive Producer credit in the film, on the poster and on IMDB.
  • Receive 'crew swag' like t-shirts, hats, mugs, posters etc. with the film's branding.
  • Meet the stars of the film, including the better known star.
  • Attend the world premiere, walk the red carpet, get photos taken with the stars.
